On the afternoon of May 5, 2021, the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Panama, led by the Ambassador Eligio Alberto Salas De Leon, had a courtesy visit at Maritime College No.1.

At the meeting, Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Rector of Maritime College No.1 warmly welcomed the delegation to visit the school, giving them a brief introduction about the mission of training human resources for maritime industry and key training departments such as: Navigation, Ship’s engine operation, Ship’s electricity, Logistics...
Also, the Ambassador and his associates were pleased to visit the school's training facilities.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Eligio Alberto Salas De Leon thanked for the solemn welcome of the Board of Directors of Maritime College No.1, highly appreciated the facilities conditions, the equipment for practice, the simulation, the training model as well as human resources including the staff and lecturers. At the same time, he also expressed his belief that Maritime College No.1 will continue to develop and maintain its reputation and brand in the field of marine human resource training and the crew trained by the school will closely meet the international standards.
At the end of the meeting, Rector Luu Viet Hung expressed his thanks to the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Panama for arranging a time to visit and the desire to cooperate between the two parties in marine education and training in the nearest day.
